Hello! I'm Mandy, a London-based creative professional with a strong passion for visual storytelling and a career that spans art direction, 2D animation, and VFX compositing.
My professional journey is built on a strong foundation as an Art Director at Petite Giant Studio, where I lead the creative production of 2D animated music videos and concert visuals. I've had the pleasure of directing projects for renowned artists like Leon Lai, Terence Lam, and Lil' Ashes, and collaborating with clients such as Sony Music Entertainment.
My wider experience also includes freelance illustration for clients like Tatler Asia and Singapore Airlines, and concept art for animated feature films.
Driven by a passion to merge this creative leadership with high-end technical production, I moved to London and earned an MA in VFX (Compositing) from Escape Studios, specializing in the Nuke pipeline.
This journey has given me a unique perspective, allowing me to blend a director's eye for composition, color, and story with the technical precision of a compositor. My creative career began with a BFA in Illustration from SCAD, and I'm a firm believer in building on your foundation rather than being limited by it.
I am fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin and am always excited to collaborate on projects that push creative boundaries.
